Alt 18 News
The top spot for the Alt-18 has been up for grabs recently. Mumford & Sons, Half Alive, Glass Animals, and Lola Young have all been number one on numerous occasions. It’s great to see Clover County consistently doing well on the countdown. Almost Monday, Phantogram, The Wombats, and Djo are having a good year on the countdown. On a side note, I introduced The Black Keys “The Night Before” and wished my brother Carson a happy birthday. Thanks Madison!
Alt Nation Moment
The other day I heard PhoneBoy “I feel Alive.” I was riding around with my brother, Brody, in his new car, when it came on. It has a sunroof! I looked up, saw the orange and pink sky. It’s actually warm in PA right now. We drove past the baseball fields. Some people were walking on the trail. It’s my favorite place during the summer. The concession stand fries still taste great. Crazy that summer is coming up. For more moments, check out my Substack column, “Moments with Music.”

Breakthrough Act
I feel like Half Alive has been on a roll lately. And rightfully so. Their song “Automatic” has reached number one on the countdown multiple times. Their new single “R.I.P.” is really catchy. I think it will do well in the coming weeks! They’ve separated themselves from other acts and have become staples on the countdown!
