Great music videos still exist! Here are some that you need to know (January 2024). It’s a cool list: Travis Scott and Emily Ratajkowski playing video games, Margaret Qualley dancing to Bleachers, Green Day throwing an epic backyard party, Black Keys getting the world to dance, Kali Uchis singing with a Sprite can, and more! Let’s get to it!

Bleachers “Tiny Moves”

Bleachers have a new single! Their new album is coming up (March 8.) The video for the third single stars actress Margaret Qualley. Her and lead singer Jack Antonoff got married last year. She said this is her ‘love letter’ to him. She dances around in a white dress, the NYC skyline behind her. Breathtaking! You can tell she’s a professional. It’s mesmerizing.

Travis Scott “I know”

The new single off of his latest album, Utopia, gets the video treatment. It features Emily Ratajkowski. This takes place at Travis Scott’s mansion. There’s a giant pool, large glass windows, the view of LA. But everything isn’t what it seems! Travis plays a video game. Then we see Emily in a different house playing a game. This is how it goes. There’s a shot of Travis watching a movie. A shot of Emily watching the same movie. Travis is working out. Emily is working out. They are never in the same place but doing the same things. Ultimately Travis is with another girl. He goes to see Emily, but she’s not there. Emily will do that to you!

Ava Max “Whatever”

I knew it was going to be good considering it has the chorus from the famous Shakira hit. Ava does it well. Dancing in the desert. Crystals get shattered before our eyes! The chorus hits hard.

Green Day “Bobby Sox”

Nothing like a backyard house party! Even better—Green Day is playing! Looks like it was shot on an old camera with grainy footage. It has a throwback feel. Very fun. Great song. Yes!

Kali Uchis “Igual Que Un Angel”

A Sprite can never looked so good! She’s dressed in white—dancing, singing, quenching her thirst. Last year she had an album in English. This one is off her Spanish album. Peso Pluma makes a cool guest appearance too. So refreshing!

Black Keys “Beautiful People (Stay High)”

Sing it all over the world! The lead single from their upcoming album, Ohio Players, has a strong groove. The video features beautiful people dancing from all corners of the globe. It’s a feel-good song that makes you want to move to the beat. Go ahead!

Norah Jones “Running”

Ok I was surprised to see this as much as anyone else. Nora Jones is back. The video is really interesting! “Running” has Norah walking with two younger looking Norah girls. Are they her former-self? They just keep walking with a road backdrop. Where are they going? What is happening?! It’ll make you keep watching.

Rolling Stones “Mess it Up”

“Mess it up” is one of the standout tracks from their critically acclaimed LP, Hackney Diamonds. It has shades of “Miss You.” With a classic Mick Jagger falsetto. The video stars actor Nicholas Hoult. It opens with him and his girlfriend having an argument. He leaves. But then he gets to the beach and realizes he needs her back! I won’t spoil it. But it gets wild!
